FoW Chest Run~My Build
I was bored and my friend and other people in ToA kept asking "What's your chest run build?", "whats the chest run Buld" so i decided to post my build.
Its probably not that great but here it is:
W/Mo
Charge!{Elite}
Sprint
Defensive Stance
Disiplined Stance
Shields UP(not shiled stance)
Healing Signet
Endure Pain
Rebirth( or another res skill-rebirth is ideal becasue u can get an ally out of a mob of enemies)
Attribute: Note: I have unfortunelty not done the attribute quests.
Tactics~13(minor)
Strength~ 13(minor)
Rest in w/e.(dont really matter i put in axe or if you bring heal area put some in healing)
Sup, absortian and vigor helps a ton, too.
Armor: I use gladiators chest and pants with knights or ascalon arms and legs. My helm is Ascalnon for +1 tactics. (sometimes i switch between an ascalon helm with sup tactics)
Weapon+sheild: Either the Crimson Carapace +60/-3 hexed http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Hagnon_Warbladeor the +45/-2 stance. -2 stance -2 hexed works too.
Im working on a map that shows route, but untill its done ill just describe where to go.
When you get in FoW walk back behind ghost and DONT TALK TO HIM.(or your pretty much screwed) Then when your gruop is together get someone to charge. You move to the right of where u start from. When that charge runs out someone else wil get it and so on. Keep runing and when you rach a big pillar like rock go to the left of it and sprint to a stop so your group can heal.
If u go left at the piller rock you'll end up in the beach, which comes later. There sould be two odd shaped rocks(i think they look like bananas) in front of you or somewhere near you. Run around the one on the far right, and stop in a dent in the wall and heal. Continue runing straight and there might be some chests. Get someone to check foresty place on left. The rest is hard to explain.
My description wil probly not help you that much; i hope to get a map of the route and chest locations soon.

my build is almost the exact same except i prefer to bring purge conditions instead of shields up just because i never really found it to be that useful and purge really helps when you stumble upon some traps

Well im not sure anyone cares but here's amap I put togther.(Yes I know im not a chorographer)....
Red Lines- Sugested route.
White lines- Send 1 or 2 people on thm to check feilds for chests(refered to as F1, F1, F3, etc..)
Green Lines-DO NOT TRY IF YOU ARE WITH ONLY 1 OR 2 PEOPLE AT THAT POINT. You will die. If you have a good group and 5 or more of you are left you can try this route. Chest is there.
Blue Dots- Stoping points. Heal here- dont heal while being chased by mobs of enemies.
Yellow Splotches- Chest locations.(Note: Chests do not always swapn there; youll get probably 3 or 4 chests each run.

Good build, but it could be improved with a couple of changes.
Str 13
Tactics 13
-3+60 Shield
+5 defensive weapon
Shields Up
Heal Sig
Disciplined Stance
Endure Pain
Purge Conditions
Sprint
Charge
Rebirth
If you are the helping hand sort, put 8 or so in heal and bring heal area (helps rez folks who die in spider cave) or healing breeze (will not help spider cave rez due to shatter enchant)
Please oh please don't run Holy Veil or Mending in FoW. Shatter enchant will own you.
You can run anywhere in FoW and back out except lava which can be tough to get out of.
For the harder areas if you brought breeze precast it when heading in for chests.
I literally never die anywhere except forest 1 or lava without making a dumb mistake with this build.
Run shields up and sprint together and disciplined and charge together.
Run this build and you can go to your dreaded white lines with or without people

I know I always tell people no mending, but soem bring anyway.
~I new I forgot something~ The weps.
I use:+29hp axe(+5 armor works too) and the crimson carapce sheild +60, -3
But I think the +45 -2 stance one would work too. And if you have a million gold to throw around get a -2 stance -2 hexed.
~O and on the 13 tactics and 13 strength I said I hadnt done the 15 point attribute quests yet. But i cange that.

I'm a shield addict so I have several options
I have a couple -2-2 stance/enchants
a -2-3 stance/hex
a -2+45 stance
a-2+45 enchant
and a -3+60 hex
and I find that for fow runs the -3+60 is most helpful. You get hexed almost non-stop in most areas and that +60 hp really makes a good bit of difference when you have the degen rolling.
For my armor I use glads with sup runes.
And I use either a fiery flame spitter +5 or a presear +5 armor enchant sword with a +5 armor hilt (+10 ftw)
Of course I am not enchanted in FoW so I only get +5 there.
I also keep a +15 +12 Ankh and a +5 >50 wand for desperate times. Especially helpful during rebirth and quick heal area in spider cave.
